I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with Jessica Blinn and her teaching abilities!
I came to Jessica with a need to rediscover my voice after a many year hiatus from singing and she was able to quickly and efficiently guide me to new levels of performance capabilities.
She is not limited to one type of teaching. She has a large stable of techniques to coach any vocal problem a student might present. In addition, she has tremendous heart and great depths of kindness for her students. I highly recommend Jessica for an exceptional learning experience.

Our family has been working with Jessica for the past year and a half. She has been tutoring our 13 year old son in violin, and we’ve been absolutely amazed at his level of growth. She not only helped him hone his technique and ability to play, she also has been encouraging his performance skills and confidence. We can’t rave about her enough.

I have been a voice student of Jessica’s for three years. Being a student of Jessica’s is a delight. She is knowledgeable, generous, student-centered, kind, encouraging and goal-oriented. She has high standards for herself and her students, and at the same time very ably meets students at the skill level they are at, and builds from there. We work hard, learn and have fun – a great combination that keeps me coming back every week and consistently practicing in between lessons.

I really enjoyed lessons with you and you.  I think you're a great teacher with a great
talent for both music and teaching.  I learned a lot from you in a short period of time. I play my violin all the time now. I have a friend who plays guitar
and we have been playing together.  We are in process of writing music together.  We have three songs already underway.  It is very fun, very cool, nothing I’ve ever experienced before.  And I have no doubt that what you showed me and taught me
aided in this a lot.  I am not nearly as self-conscious to play.  No shakeys or panic attacks. :)  Just fun and music. I still get a little nervous, I won’t lie. But it quickly subsides when I remember what you told me about just being in the moment and playing for fun.

Our experience with Jessica as a violin teacher has been wonderful. She brings together the best qualities of a teacher - knowledge and skill coupled with patience, kindness, attentiveness, positivity, responsibility and reliability.

In a surprise to me, my lessons with Jessica were not only singing lessons but also voice lessons. This work and encouragement have helped me gain much needed confidence in all aspects of using my voice.
I feel more confident in speaking because this work has brought consciousness to the use of my voice and provided exercises to bring awareness to the task of using my voice instead of staying with my old unconscious habits. It has been very beneficial to me as a person.

Serina comes out of her voice lessons saying they are very productive and that she really enjoys the time. Serina doesn’t usually say very much about other lessons ~ she usually says they are ok. For a young teenager that usually means they are good. But she has been coming home telling me she really enjoys her voice lessons. I would highly recommend Jessica to anyone that is looking for a well experienced vocal teacher. Thank you Jessica for your down to earth approach to teaching.
